A few months ago he opened up his blog Composer's Toolbox for guest writings. In my research I came across some resources that excelled at their purpose but left me wanting more. I quickly realized that if I was asking these questions (with a year's performance experience under my belt) that composers outside this medium may need a helpful hand.
And speaking of helpful hands Composer's Toolbox is a fantastic resource. Take a look through some of the posts and you'll quickly see just how much Lis' blog has to offer.
The goal of my blog is to provide answers to some of these questions. What pieces would you suggest? What performers are good references? What in the world is going on with this score set up!? It presents these and more - hopefully it inspires composers to write for one of music's most exciting (and fastest growing) mediums. Many thanks to Lis for the opportunity!
